HOLD TO GOD’S UNCHANGING HAND

HOLD TO GOD’S UNCHANGING 5 Let your conduct HAND be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you. ” 6 So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me? ” 7 Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. 8

Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD. Jeremiah 17: 5 5

Surely men of low degree are a vapor, Men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, They are altogether lighter 9

It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put 9 confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in princes. Psalms 118: 8 -9 8

Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no 4 help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; In that very day his plans 3

“For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. 6

HOLD TO GOD’S UNCHANGING HAND GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS DOESN’T CHANGE:

Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every UNCHANGING perfect gift is from above, and comes HOLD TO 12 GOD’S HAND

GOD’S HOLD TO For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. Romans 10: 3 UNCHANGING 3 HAND

HOLD TO Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 5: 1 UNCHANGING 1 GOD’S HAND

HOLD TO Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5: 5 UNCHANGING 5 GOD’S HAND

HOLD TO But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5: 8 UNCHANGING 8 GOD’S HAND

HOLD TO Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5: 9 UNCHANGING 9 GOD’S HAND

HOLD TO For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Romans 5: 10 UNCHANGING 10 GOD’S HAND

HOLD TO UNCHANGING This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, Heb 6: 19 19 GOD’S HAND

Lord’s Supper Introduction.

26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body. ” 27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drinkfrom it, all of you. 28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom. ” Matthew 26: 26 -29
