Morning Procedures �DISPLAY your car tag �If you only have a K-8 th grader, drop off at the gym unless directed differently by the traffic monitor �After the 8 am bell, the sign is displayed in front. Parents must park, walk their child(ren) into school and sign the tardy book � 10 tardies = 1 absence � 20 absences places your child in jeopardy of advancing to the next grade �After 8: 05 PK children will be walked to their classroom by a staff member so as not to disrupt the PK classes
Afternoon Pick up �If you only have 5 -8 th grade students -pick up at the gym entrance, enter/exit through the gate on 2004 �If you only have PK students -pick up on farthest left lane in front of the school �If you have K-4 th grade students -pick up in the lane closest to the front entrance �If you have K-4 th grade + PK or Jr High students –pick up in the lane closest to the front entrance
Sign in Procedures �ALL Visitors must sign in at the front office �Bring your ID/driver’s license the first time you enter our school to the receptionist so that you may be entered into the Raptor Visitor Management System �Sign out when you leave the campus �All doors are locked to the school except the front entrance during regular school hours
Childcare �Drop off begins at 6: 30 a. m. �In the morning, drop your child off in the gym �Closes at 6: 00 p. m. , with a late charge of $10/minute �In the evening, Pre. K students may be picked up in the Pre. K classrooms, K-8 th students may be picked up in the designated childcare portable building
Absence Policy �If your child will be absent more than 2 days for reasons other than illness, you must complete the Request for Absence Form (available on our website) �Please, notify both your child’s home room teacher (first initial, last name @olqpschoool. org) and the front desk (receptionist@olqpschool. org) via email if your child is sick �Students MUST be fever free for 24 hours without the aid of fever reducing medicine. �If you wish to request their makeup homework, please, call the front desk before 10: 00 am, work will be ready by 3: 30 pm at the front desk
Uniforms �Belts – 3 rd grade and up �Socks �Jackets �Mass shirts on Fridays �See handbook �Pictures �Label all jackets, lunch boxes, etc. �Lost and Found is in Mrs. Brewster’s office �OLQP takes donations of gently used Parker or Land’s End uniforms - no stains, rips, tears, broken buttons or zippers. �Donated uniforms are available in the closet next to the child care office
