Let’s pray • I bring you good news of great joy: a Saviour has been born to you. Alleluia. Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given. Alleluia. • [Listen to the words of St Luke: ] • He is Christ the Lord. Alleluia. We worship and adore him. Alleluia. Amen.

Building Your Christingles You are going to have to build your own christingles this year. . . But don’t worry, we’re going to talk you through it!

The Orange that represents the World. Look at the orange that represents the entire world around us. A world that God created!

The Fruit and Sweets that represent all of the good things God has given us.

Then God created people!

The Ribbon that represents the blood of Jesus came because we need a saviour!

The Candle that represents Jesus – The Light of the World.

As you watch the video, please remember those less fortunate than us this Christmas time, and maybe consider how we can shine Jesus’ light into the lives of those around us.

To finish, we say together. . . Father of all, you have given us your Son to be the Saviour of the World. Welcome us your children into your kingdom to enjoy your presence now and for ever. Amen.
