Routines and things to remember: ➢ Morning Session 8: 55 -11: 30 am Afternoon Session 1 pm – 3: 30 pm ➢ The Nursery does not close early on Fridays. ➢ Children need to bring in their books bag Mondays & Fridays. ➢ Provide your child with a labelled water bottle. A small snack will be provided in school (fruit, crackers, milk) ➢ You must write your child's name on their clothes –otherwise we are unable to ensure they are returned to you. ➢ Please bring a spare change of clothes to leave on your child's peg in case of accidents.

Settling your child: ► ► We welcome parents to come in and settle their children in the playground. At this time, we ask that parents don't enter the classroom. We understand that the length of time needed to settle will vary from child to child, the team will support you with this Once your child is very settled and happy coming into the Nursery, we ask that you line up and drop them off at the gate at 8: 55 am Reducing the number of adults in the school grounds will help us to keep things clean and safe for the children, parents and our team.

Home Learning - in the event of selfisolation or lockdown: Clara Grant Lockdown Contingency Curriculum ► ► ► Nursery will be using an app called Classdojo to communicate with parents and share home learning in case of a lockdown. We will be sharing your classdojo codes very soon and help you to get set up. If the school has to lock down, I will be posting three activities on Classdojo daily for you to try with your child. * The school will provide more information should we have to revert to home learning

What can you can do to help your child at home: ► Encourage them to become independent in dressing themselves – practise putting on coats, zips and gloves ready for the winter. ► Share stories with your child – they will be bringing home two books each week to read with you. ► Encourage them to try new things, take risks and not give up – e. g. climbing on the slide, trying new foods, using bikes.

Covid Symptoms in Children and what to do: (as per NHS website) The main symptoms of coronavirus are: ➢ a high temperature ➢ a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot, for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours ➢ a loss or change to sense of smell or taste – this means they cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal What to do if your child has symptoms: ➢ Get a test to check if they have coronavirus as soon as possible. ➢ Stay at home and do not have visitors until you get the test result – only leave your home to have a test. ➢ Inform the school ASAP * Please refer to the School’s Website for Home Learning information in the event of self isolation
