A MODERN AFFIRMATION Pastor: Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is the one true church, apostolic and universal, whose holy faith let us now declare: 885
Pastor and People: We believe in God the Father, infinite in wisdom, power, and love, whose mercy is over all his works, and whose will is ever directed
We believe in Jesus Christ, Son of God and Son of man, the gift of the Father’s unfailing grace,
the ground of our hope, and the promise of our deliverance from sin and death.
We believe in the Holy Spirit as the divine presence in our lives,
whereby we are kept in perpetual remembrance of the truth of Christ, and find strength and help in time of need.
We believe that this faith should manifest itself in the service of love as set forth in the example of our blessed Lord,
to the end that the kingdom of God may come upon the earth. Amen.
Lord, I Lift Your Name on High Rick Founds (1 Cor. 15: 3 -4) Lord, I lift your name on high; Lord, I love to sing your praises. © 1989 Maranatha! Praise Inc. , admin. by The Copyright Co. 2088
I’m so glad you’re in my life; I’m so glad you came to save us.
You came from heaven to earth, to show the way, from the earth to the cross my debt to pay;
from the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky; Lord, I lift your name on high.

Scripture Reading Ezekiel 37 1: 14 37 The hand of the LORD came upon me, and he brought me out by the spirit of the LORD and set me down in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me all around them; there were very many lying in the valley, and they were very dry. 3 He said to me, “Mortal, can these bones live? ” I answered, “O Lord GOD, you know. ” 4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them: O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
5 Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. 6 I will lay sinews on you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am the LORD. ” 7 So I prophesied as I had been commanded; and as I prophesied, suddenly there was a noise, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8 I looked, and there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them; but there was no breath in them.
9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, mortal, and say to the breath: Thus says the Lord GOD: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. ” 10 I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood on their feet, a vast multitude. 11 Then he said to me, “Mortal, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are cut off completely. ’
12 Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: I am going to open your graves, and bring you up from your graves, O my people; and I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 And you shall know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves, and bring you up from your graves, O my people. 14 I will put my spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you on your own soil; then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken and will act, says the LORD. ” L: This is the Word of the Lord. P: Thanks be to God
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD my whole life long. L: This is the Word of the Lord. P: Thanks be to God

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. and forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Breathe on Me, Breath of God WORDS: Edwin Hatch, 1878 (Jn. 20: 22) 1. Breathe on me, Breath of God, fill me with life anew, 420
that I may love what thou dost love, and do what thou wouldst do.
2. Breathe on me, Breath of God, until my heart is pure,
until with thee I will one will, to do and to endure.
3. Breathe on me, Breath of God, till I am wholly thine,
till all this earthly part of me glows with thy fire divine.
4. Breathe on me, Breath of God, so shall I never die,
but live with thee the perfect life of thine eternity.
Go and Be a Blessing!
