Today’s topic Affirmative into Negative
Try to change the sentence into negative Affirmative: Rahat was as strong as Rakib. Negative: Rahat was not less strong than Rakib If there is “as …. . as” in the statement, “not less…. than” should be used to change it Negative
Try to change the sentence into negative Affirmative: As soon as he saw the tiger, he ran away. Negative: No sooner had he seen the tiger than he ran away. If there is “as soon as” in the statement, “no sooner had…. than” should be used to change it Negative
Try to change the sentence into negative Affirmative: He is the best batsman in the team. Negative: No other batsman in the team is as good as him. If there is “Superlative form of the adjective” in the statement, it should be changed into Negative using the structure of Positive Degree.
Change the following sentences into Negative: 1. Affirmative: You are the best boy in the class. Negative: No other boy in the class is as good as you. 2. Affirmative: He is as good as you. Negative: He is not less good than you. 3. Affirmative: No sooner had the boy saw the police, he ran away. Negative: As soon as the boy seen the police than he ran away.

Negative: This was not an ordinary ship If there is “any Auxiliary verb” in the statement, “not” should be used following the auxiliary and the antonym of the key word should be used to change it Negative.
