Welcome to Mrs. Taylor's Class Geometry Pre AICE Math 2 Honors Statistics AP Statistics

Hello Somerset! I am thrilled to begin teaching here again at Somerset Canyons Academy. This will be my fourth year at Somerset and I am looking forward to working with all the amazing students! To give you some background information; I was born and raised in New Jersey and attended Penn State University where I earned a Bachelor's in Mathematics. I also received my Masters in Secondary Education in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University (Go Owls!). For fun, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my two young sons and my husband. I also enjoy running and am currently training for a marathon. This will also be my 2 nd year coaching Cross Country. I am here to help my students in any way possible and my door is always open! How to submit assignments? Always submit the assignments through Google Classroom. Do not forget to click turn in. If you do assignments on paper, please make sure you upload it as PDF to Google Classroom. You can use scanner or use the apps genius scan or camscanner on your phone. Also notes app in Iphone!!

Important Information The same as we are in a classroom, students still need to show work when solving math problems. How to put math symbols? ● ● ● 2^3 means 2 3 (use ^ to show exponents) 5*6 (* means multiply) 18/3 (/ means division)

Important Information ● ● ● Geometry and Pre AICE Math 2 (Geometry Honors) will have EOC at the end of the school year. Honors Statistics will have midterm and Final Exam at the end of the school year (no EOC) AP Statistics will have an AP Test at the end of the year- possible college credit!!!!
