Welcome to Mrs. nd Smith’s 2 Grade Class!

School begins promptly at 7: 30.

Students are tardy after 7: 40.

BHP students participate in an “On Time” contest every month. Our partners in education provide incentives for students who are on time to school each month.

Snacks We will have a snack each morning. I am going to provide goodies for the first two days of school. After that I will send a snack schedule home.

Excessive tardiness and early check-outs result in the loss of valuable instructional time. Please make every effort to have your child in school on time and remain for the entire day.

BHP will not let students go home any way other than the usual, unless the parent/guardian sends a note indicating a change. All changes made by phone should be called in by 1: 00.

For safety purposes, tennis shoes must be worn on P. E. days. We have P. E. on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

Breakfast is served daily from 7: 00 -7: 30.

Lunchroom Tidbits • Lunch– Regular. 75 a day – Reduced. 40 a day $3. 75 week $2. 00 week • Breakfast is FREE for ALL students • No glass containers are permitted. • If your child is allergic to certain foods, including milk, a note from the child’s doctor must be sent to the school. • We go to lunch at 12: 10 each day. Please join us!

We will have homework each night except Wednesday and Friday. Parents please go over homework each night with your child, then sign or initial the homework sheet.
