MSUFT HISTORY • Being a Department of the Mogilev Machine - Constructing Institute it accepted first students into speciality Technology of Chemical Fibres in 1968. • In 1973 the Mogilev Technological Institute was founded as independent state institution. • Food Engineering Machines and Devices, Technology of Chemical Fibres , Technology and Organization of Public Catering were the first specializations. • Since 2002 - Mogilev State University of Food Technologies

MSUFT EDUCATION • The structure of the University comprises 5 Schools, 19 Departments, Preeducational Training Department, Institute of Advancing the Qualification and Retraining Specialists, Scientific Research Department • About 4000 students are trained at full-time and correspondence forms of education at 1 st level and 109 at the 2 nd level • They can be proficient in 13 specialities, 7 special fields, 14 specializations (1 st level ) and 10 specialities (2 nd level) • The training course lasts for 9 (nine) semesters, including a semester consisting of a 5 week practical training, a 12 week diploma designing and 4 week finals
