Ø 30% of unrestricted revenue in 2016 • These unrestricted funds allow RESULTS to maintain our independence to work on the issues and strategic projects where we will have the most impact. • You help us extend the reach of our message, bringing more people into the movement to end poverty. To Your RESULTS Group: • Fundraising can be an extension of your advocacy work and can raise your group’s visibility in your community. • Opportunity to highlight accomplishments and bring in new members to grow your group • Can be a “hook” for reaching out to your members of Congress and media contacts. • Solidifies your group and further engages current advocates To You: • Fundraising empowers you to clearly articulate your values and why you personally invest in the work of RESULTS with your time and money. • Fundraising is a chance to practice your communication, organization, and management skills – which carry over to many other aspects of your life.
