Take-Home Folders **Will be sent home daily** • Please remove all papers from KEEP AT HOME side of folder daily. • A Kindergarten Newsletter will go home monthly. • The Specials schedule is in folder. • Please keep Behavior Log in the Folder as well as papers placed in page protectors. • All money must be in an envelope along with your child’s name, amount, and label for where the money is to go (or pay online using EZ pay or REVTRAK).

Homework • Fluency Practice (1 minute only): Have your child identify/name what is in each box. Announce how many he or she gets correct in one minute and note errors. You will make flashcards with items missed and review throughout the week. The goal is to get faster and more accurate each week.

School Schedule • School begins at 8: 40 a. m. and we ask that

School Schedule • School begins at 8: 40 a. m. and we ask that students be unpacked, seated, and working by then. • Students eating breakfast will come to class first and then walk to the breakfast line with their breakfast tag. • Dismissal begins at 3: 40 p. m.

Positive Behavior Support • We will be promoting positive behavior in our school. • Our 3 expectations: -Be Prepared -Be Polite -Be Positive • Students can earn Dojo points or Hoot Loot to purchase rewards for showing model behavior.

Behavior Report • Your child will come home each day with a behavior report.

Behavior Report • Your child will come home each day with a behavior report. The goal is to get “green” or better for coming to school “Ready to Learn”. Stickers can be earned by going above green. • If your child earns yellow, orange, or red on a particular the day with a black dot in the middle, it was a “rough day. ” A numerical code will be made indicating what he or she should work on to stay on green. Parents are asked to initial the behavior chart daily.

Standards-Based Reports • Students will receive either a 1, 2, or 3. • Progress Reports can be kept for your records. • Report Cards are sent home at the end of each quarter. Keep the report card and send back the signed envelope. • Be aware of the word “ALL” on the report card.

(no peanut products) • EVERYTIME your child is absent, you will need to send a written note regarding the absence. • Transportation Changes MUST be in writing. • Our lunch time is 10: 02. You are welcome to come eat with your child anytime.
