Welcome to Kindergarten! IMPORTANT DATES Dear Parents, Welcome to Kindergarten, and to White Oak Elementary. We are so excited to embark on this journey with you and your child. Kindergarten students start the year by attending one day the first week of school. This allows students to get acquainted with school and classroom procedures. It also provides teachers the opportunity to spend some one-onone time learning more about each student’s strengths and abilities. This will be a normal, full day of Kindergarten.
