Reading Program Reading Streets infuses both science and social studies within fiction and non

Reading Program Reading Streets infuses both science and social studies within fiction and non fiction stories 75 minutes of literacy based centers incorporate technology with computers, I PADS, Smart Board include phonics, writing, and reading activities Daily small group reading instruction

Reading Program cont. Phonological Awareness lessons will be taught through the use of Michael

Reading Program cont. Phonological Awareness lessons will be taught through the use of Michael Heggerty and 95% Group. These daily lessons practice skills such as: Letter Naming , Rhyming, Blending, Identifying Final and/or Medial Sounds, Segmenting, Adding Phonemes, Deleting Phonemes, Substituting Phonemes, and Language Awareness. * CAPIT- a supplemental phonics curriculum with PA embedded. Completed daily on the mini ipads.

Math Program Eureka Math Infuses fluency activities, interactive notebooks, hands on manipulatives and problem

Math Program Eureka Math Infuses fluency activities, interactive notebooks, hands on manipulatives and problem solving skills. 45 minutes whole group/small group instruction. Assessments include teacher observations, one on one assessments, district required assessments.

Data Notebooks * Students use their data notebook throughout the day to focus on their own personal learning needs and goals. Data notebooks are updated often and students graph their progress on a classroom graph.
