Commitment to Virtual School Monroe County Schools is giving students and their families two

Commitment to Virtual School Monroe County Schools is giving students and their families two weeks from the start of school to decide whether or not this program is best for them. At the end of the trial period, students who do not return to in-seat school at JMHS must complete the semester on virtual school. Students may return to in-seat instruction for the spring semester, if they wish. This commitment is a commitment regardless of the remote learning status of Monroe County. If you are a virtual student and Monroe County goes to remote learning, you will remain on the WVVS platform as a virtual student. If you are an in-seat student who begins the year remotely, you may not transition to WVVS as a virtual student when students return to in-seat instruction. Note – IEP meetings will be held for special education students enrolling in virtual school so that accommodations may be updated, if necessary.
