Why teach someone to use STEPS Cards? • “Bundling” is a fundamental brain injury compensation strategy. STEPS cards help us bundle parts of tasks we have already “bundled. ” Skills trainers are taught to coach clients to ask themselves: – How many steps can I remember without writing them down? – How many steps are contained in typical work tasks? • STEPS cards can effectively fill in the gaps.
