Events for Athletes • Members of the Track Team will be eligible for each

Events for Athletes • Members of the Track Team will be eligible for each meet. Making a meet is based on effort in practice, time trials, jump and throw-offs, and coach’s discretion. • We take 3 girls and an occasional 4 th alternate to each meet in each event. Some meets allow 4 athletes per event. • Each athlete can be entered into a TOTAL of 5 events maximum. (3 run/2 field OR 3 field/2 run) • Running events take precedence over field events. If conflicting running and field events happen during a meet, the athlete will do the running event. CC

** Participation Policy ** • This seasons, weather permitting, we are trying to get each girl on the Track and Field team entry into 2 pre-district meets. • There is no guarantee it will be in an event each person is experienced in, but we want everyone to be able to participate in an actual meet that is on the team. • This changes the focus of the non-district meets. • District will still be a roster chosen from the top performers at meets, practice, and coaches discretion. • This also means that some top performers may NOT participate in every meet. • This policy is for Girls AND Boys teams. • Uniform / Sweats flexibility.
