Doing Right Expectations - Start your Day off right – Make YOUR bed!!! - Get organized – Cornell Notes - Come Prepared, Do right - Attendance Protocol Information - Dress Code - Sagging Pants - Pants and shorts should be fitted at the waist and cover the entire buttocks area without drooping. Underwear must not be exposed. p. 24 - Food - Fast foods and carbonated beverages are not permitted on school grounds. p. 17 - Cell Phone - Student cell phones are banned during the instructional day unless used during BYOT instruction. Students may only use their cell phones before or after the school day. p. 11 - Breakfast procedure

Doing Right Expectations - WALK QUIETLY on the RIGHT side of the hallways - Bus safety -Can’t stop buses once moving - Authorized bus stop – Do not run down a bus - Car rider safety – Parents, Stay off Cell Phones while in line to Pick-up Students - Attendance Protocol – p. 26 – 28 As permitted under state law, State Board of Education rules and Hart County Board of Education policy, pupils may be excused for the following reasons: -Personally ill and when attendance in school would endanger their health or the health of others -A serious illness or death in their immediate family -Mandated by order of governmental agencies, including pre-induction physical examinations for service in the armed forces or by a court order -Celebrating religious holidays -Registering to vote or voting, for a period not to exceed one day -Conditions render attendance impossible or hazardous to their health or safety -A parent has been called to duty for or is on leave from overseas deployment to a combat zone or combat support posting -Students in foster care who attend court proceedings relevant to their placement Read the section - Parental Responsibility for Attendance – p. 28
