Supplies O Le Roi Daniels has the basic school supplies ready for your student O Extras: O Headphones - cover the ears, sturdy, no ear buds please O May request other items throughout the year for special projects

Homework O TLC expectations for Grade 3 is 30 ish minutes of daily homework (10 - 15 mins for Homework PLUS 20 mins of reading) O Homework will be supplemental practice and review of what has been taught in the classroom (writing, writing strategies, grammar, reading strategies, math computation, word problems and critical thinking skills) O 20 minutes of daily home reading is a MUST O Assigned homework for the week which will be posted on Weebly on Friday and due the following Thursday/Spelling Test days O Parents are required to check the homework prior to handing it in on the due date (check for completion, correct the work, and initial)

Recess and Lunch O Please send healthy foods to feed your child’s body and mind O Send an appropriate amount of food O All lunch garbage will be returned in the student’s lunchbox – not to be left at school (reducing school garbage) O REMINDER!!! O We are a NUT-AWARE school, so please do NOT send food items that contain any type of nut O Please inform us if your child has any other food allergies, sensitivities or dietary restrictions
