TEACHING CAREER • Graduated with a dual certification in Early Childhood and Childhood Education (B-6) from Niagara University • Master’s degree in Childhood Literacy from SUNY Brockport • Taught 1 st Grade at ACE for one year • This is my seventh year teaching 4 th Grade
PERSONAL LIFE • Grew up in Fairport, NY • Married my best friend, Cody, in July of 2016 • Our son, Asher, was born 10/6/18 • We have a Golden Retriever named Wesley • Enjoy cooking, exercise, music, and reading

ACES Initiative • These four traits were chosen as essential to creating a school environment where ideas, backgrounds, and perspectives are tied together in a caring community. • This coming school year, we will continue to ACE it! We plan to go in depth with each quality, making sure each student has a deep understanding of not only the meaning, but also why it is important to our culture and how it can be demonstrated. INFORMATION ABOUT HOMEWORK • An average of about 40 minutes of homework per night • Homework will be written in the planner; please check it • Set up a good routine for homework • Encourage your child to be independent • Math fact practice should happen daily • 20 minutes of silent reading from an appropriate level book, 5 times a week. Please help your child record their reading • Should be done in pencil, neatly • If your child is putting in a solid work time and still not completing work, or if they require an unusual amount of help, please let us know. *** STRIKE SYSTEM ***
