Virtual Learning Classroom Information General Information Teacher Name: Shannon Van De Beuken Email: vandebeuken. shannon@cusd 80. com Phone: 480 -424 -8559 Communication Daily assignments can be found in our Google Classroom. All assignments and feedback will go through Google Classroom as well. We will use Google Meets (via Google Classroom) for live and pre-recorded lessons. Please feel free to email me with any questions—I look forward to building a relationship with you and your family so we can support your student together. Attendance will be taken daily via student login and/or student participation during live instruction. Students are expected to log in and participate daily. Virtual Learning Expectations Students will need to be able to access our assignments via Google Classroom. These assignments may include activities such as: live class discussions/activities, independent practice, and the viewing of pre-recorded videos. Please ensure that your child is viewing all pre-recorded lessons. Live instruction should be joined as much as possible. Students are required to complete and submit the assignments. Grading Students will receive grades for assignments. Assignments that are being used for an assessment grade need to be completed independently by the student without parent assistance. Grades will be updated in Infinite Campus. Materials Students are being given materials from the classroom to use at home during online instruction. All materials belong to Rice Elementary and must be returned in the same condition upon returning to in-person instruction. Textbook(s) are checked out in your child's name and will need to be returned to Rice.
