About Me. . . • • • This is my seventh year teaching at Andersen Elementary I have been in education for 15 years I love to go hiking with my family I love to read and always have a stack of books on my nightstand I have two children. . . a son named Oliver and a daughter named Ashleigh My husband works for Honeywell and is very good at math! Expectations Basic Rules: • Identify a suitable workspace to work • Login or dial in 5 minutes before the virtual classroom session begins • Mute microphone • Be respectful • Listen and participate actively • Complete and submit assignments • Dress appropriately for video feature Student Responsibilities: • Log in daily or assigned meeting times • Ask/Answer questions • Take turns participating daily in classroom discussions • Complete packets and turn in work on time • Work independently or in groups (when assigned) • Be an active member of the virtual community

This is where all learning assignments, activities/tasks and materials, stories/articles, videos, assessments and/or quizzes are located to be completed and turned in. b. Reading and Language Arts • Reading: Literature and Informational text • Writing: Responding to Text, Conduct short Research Projects, written Narrative, Informational, & Opinion pieces • Speaking and Listening: Engage in collaborative discussions, clearly respond to questions, and summarize ideas with supporting reasons • Language Skills: Demonstrate understanding and command of English grammar and conventions when writing and/or speaking Science & Social Studies ● Science: concepts relating to properties of matter, forces and motion, genetic traits and the scientific method ● Social Studies: concepts relating to American Revolution, Constitution, Civil War and Westward Expansion Math ● Multiply multiple digit whole numbers ● Divide 4 digit dividends by 2 digit divisions ● Add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators ● Multiply and divide fractions by whole numbers
