IFG – Instructional Focus Groups • 4 times a week -30 minutes each -Small groups are leveled based on ability • Math 8: 45 -9: 15 & ELA 1: 30 -2: 00 Station Rotations *During rotations students are doing a variety of things Examples: Focus Skill, Reteaching & Practice, Technology, Writing, Extension Activities, Games, CGI Problems, Challenges, Partner Reading, Spelling Tic Tac Toe, Choice Boards, etc.

Ways You Can Support Your Child’s Learning • • • Read with them every week Write…even if it’s only a few sentences. Skip count (2’s, 5’s, 10’s) forward & backwards Sort & count money Practice addition & subtraction facts (flash cards for fluency) • Technology (typing in Word, code. org, web links or other resources online) • Telling time using an analog clock (not only digital) • Go over the homework with your child and have them make corrections if mistakes were made.
