Seven Letters “. . . I saw seven golden lampstands; and in the middle of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across his breast with a golden girdle. And his head and his hair were white like white wool, like snow; and his eyes were like a flame of fire; and his feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been caused to glow in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of many waters. . .

“YOU ARE SERIOUSLY IMBALANCED” n THYATIRA: “You love, but you don’t hate. ” “I know your deeds, and your love and faith. . . ” Revelation 2: 19

“YOU ARE SERIOUSLY IMBALANCED” n THYATIRA: “You love, but you don’t hate. ” “But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman ‘Jezebel, ’ who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads my bond-servants astray, so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. ” Revelation 2: 20

“YOU ARE SERIOUSLY IMBALANCED” Jesus wants us to be passionately committed to BOTH his truth & to his love!

“YOU ARE DANGEROUSLY SELF-DECEIVED. ” n LAODECIA: “You think you belong to me, but you don’t. ” “You say, ‘I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing, ’ and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. ” Revelation 3: 17

“YOU ARE DANGEROUSLY SELF-DECEIVED. ” n LAODECIA: “You think you belong to me, but you don’t. ” “I advise you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich, and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see. ” Revelation 3: 18

“YOU ARE DANGEROUSLY SELF-DECEIVED. ” n LAODECIA: “You think you belong to me, but you don’t. ” “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me. ” Revelation 3: 20

Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which (are) about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of my God. ” Revelation 3: 1, 2 a

“YOU ARE DANGEROUSLY SELF-DECEIVED. ” n SARDIS: “You think you are healthy, but you are dying. ” “Remember therefore what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. . . ” Revelation 3: 3

“YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL REGARDLESS OF WHAT OTHERS SAY. ” n SMYRNA: “You are rich in the only way that matters. ” “I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich). . . ” Revelation 2: 9

“YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL REGARDLESS OF WHAT OTHERS SAY. ” n PHILADELPHIA: “You are connected to the only One that counts. ” “I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because (while) you have but little power, (you) have kept my word, and have not denied my name. ” Revelation 3: 8
