My Story I started hearing about Brain Gym in the 90’s as a way of getting better results with more accuracy by using 4 simple movements called P. A. C. E Since then, I start every session checking clients for being in P. A. C. E, to see if they are “Testable” (utilize kinesiology / muscle testing) BEFORE I continue with the session. I noticed, I get better outcomes & more accurate results when my client’s Muscle Testing Pic are in P. A. C. E. Brain Gym, was developed by Gail & Paul Dennison in the 70’s to improve a child’s ability to learn & comprehend concepts & ideas through movement.

What is P. A. C. E ? Ø It’s a series of 4 simple movements designed to integrate both brain hemispheres, Simultaneously. Your Benefits Ø Your Brain gets the “Big Picture” & the “Small Details” of how & what to do, for any task at hand.
Getting You Into P. A. C. E. Here are the 4 movements for getting you into P. A. C. E
#1 Positive > Hook – Ups Cross arms over each other Arms out straight Thumbs down P thumbs still down interlock fingers Final Position Clasp / Interlock all fingers together. Bring both arm down & up onto your chest Rest hands onto chest Rest hands on chest & Cross your ankles Touch finger tips together & Uncross your legs. Breathe 2 -3 x & RELAX
What does Hook-Ups do for you ? Ø Simultaneously, connects ALL the energy circuits / meridians in the body to stimulate the movement of any blocked energy. Ø Open’s the brain channels to have access to BOTH brain sides. Ø Balances the Brain & Nervous system for: Complete Brain Integration
#2. Active > Cross Crawl How to do CROSS CRAWL Cross Crawl is simply “a walking in place exercise”. Ø Ø Ø First, touch right hand to the opposite knee. Second, touch the left hand, to the opposite knee. Third, continue this movement for 4 -8 repetitions. Cross Crawl exercises are enhanced, by doing them as slow as possible, to engage the fine motor movements for body & brain balance. Ø Cross Crawl is especially good for the elderly or a person who has difficulty with their “balance” when standing or walking. A
How does Cross Crawl benefit you ? Ø Creates movements that “cross-over” the mid-line of the body to move information to the other side of the brain, for Complete Brain Integration Ø Retrieves past memories of formerly known movements you learned as a child and applies them to the current task at hand. Ø Enhances cognitive skills like: reading, writing, listening, memory and balance coordination.
#3 Clear > Brain Buttons. How to do Brain Buttons Ø Put one hand on your navel. Ø Put the other hand, thumb & middle finger, in the hollow spot about 2 inches below your collar bone & about one inch out from either side of the center of your chest bone. Ø Rub / massage, this area vigorously for 10 -15 seconds. C
How can Brain Buttons benefit you ? Ø Stimulates the carotid arteries that supply fresh oxygenated blood to your brain. Ø Helps re-establish messages from other parts of the body to be re-connected back to the brain. Ø Improves your cognitive skills such as: reading, writing & speaking skills. Ø Helps a person to track & follow directions.
#4 Energetic > Water The Importance of Water Ø Energizes and hydrates our entire body. Ø A ‘catalyst’ that stimulates every chemical, mechanical and biological process in the body. Ø Makes up 70% of our total body weight. 90% of our Brain is Water. Yikes !!!! Ø Ø Ø Main conductor of all electrical impulses in the body. Crucial for mental and physical performance. Moves nutrients in and out of all 70 trillion cells of our body. Carries away cellular waste so cells can breathe. Get nutrients into the cells so they can reproduce. Bottom Line: Water, we can’t think or live without it. E

This is what happens when you get stressed ? Your brain will go to its “dominant side (we all have a dominate side). You then, DO NOT have access to the other side of your brain, for making a plan or a decision about whatever it is your doing or going to do. Your Brain gets Blocked. This causes STRESS, brain fatigue, muscle tension, pain & emotional distress to take hold.
TAKE NOTE If you are NOT in P. A. C. E you are NOT using both sides of your brain, Simultaneously Therefore, Your Brain, will go into a STRESS mode by Default.
How can P. A. C. E benefit you in your life ? Ø Starting any NEW task you want to learn about or do. Ø When your Stressed and need to quiet your mind and your body. Ø Taking action in a crisis or EMERGENCY / 911 to help you focus on what to do next. Ø If your emotionally upset about something you: saw, said, didn’t do or heard.
