Ø It is also used as Christmas tree.

Initiation : ØWe import the viable seeds with Cones from US every year. ØAfter

Initiation : ØWe import the viable seeds with Cones from US every year. ØAfter implementing different treatments, we dissect out the Zygotic embryo from the seeds under highly sterile conditions. ØAfter few weeks of incubation on specific nutrient medium; the proliferation starts and we get the complete mass of Embryonal cells (ESM).

Embryonal Suspensor Mass (ESM) Cultures : - ØMaintenance and multiplication of ESM is being

Embryonal Suspensor Mass (ESM) Cultures : - ØMaintenance and multiplication of ESM is being done by transferring ESM on fresh medium (solid) every 10 -12 days. Ø We are maintaining around 10 thousand ESM cultures in our growth rooms. ØAll cultures are being incubated in darkness at 22 -25 O C.

Cell Suspension Culture : ØThe cell suspension culture starts by the addition of ESM

Cell Suspension Culture : ØThe cell suspension culture starts by the addition of ESM cultures in liquid medium. ØContinuous rotation on shaker machine at 80 -100 rpm in dark and sub-cultured at approximately 7 days interval. ØWe maintain n multiply over 2000 flasks of Cell suspension culture at every week.

Cryo-preservation Facility : - Ø we preserve the Clonal Embryonal cells in liquid Nitrogen
