Helping patient groups have a voice in your Primary Care Network (PCN) Healthwatch Bucks core objectives are to: - Listen – to what residents have to say about their health and social care services. - Influence – to make sure those views are represented effectively. - Change - the way health and social care services are delivered for the better. • • Since 2015 we’ve also been funded by the CCG to help support PPGs - first for the Chiltern CCG area and then for whole county when Bucks CCG was formed. During this time we have met many PPGs or members of PPGs, run workshops, developed (and recently updated) a PPG toolkit, done a survey to find out what PPGs are doing & how they work and shared good practice in our newsletter. Since the PCNs were formed we’ve refocused our efforts - to help PPGs become effective within these networks. We’ve already been talking to some of you about ways we can help PPGs to get involved. Please contact Helen (helen. smith@healthwatchbucks. co. uk or ring 01844 348824) to discuss how we can help you.
