Grading Policy Tests - 60% Quizzes - 20% Homework - 20% If you are absent for a test, you will be required to make up the test upon returning to school. For protracted illnesses, tests will be made up within a reasonable time.

Friday Skill Sheets You will receive a skill sheet every Monday consisting of 5

Friday Skill Sheets You will receive a skill sheet every Monday consisting of 5 problems relating to concepts we are working on in class. Skill sheets are due that Friday. You may get help at home or at extra help for any problems you do not understand. Skill sheets count as a quiz. Skill sheets not handed in will receive a zero.

Re-Testing Policy Only those students who score below 70% are eligible to take a

Re-Testing Policy Only those students who score below 70% are eligible to take a retest. 80% is the highest grade possible on a retest. Students must have completed all homework assignments in order to re-test. Students must attend an extra help session before the re-test. Students must attend an extra help session after the re-test. Students must make test corrections, (The key is to attend extra help before the actual test. )

Homework Policy The purpose of homework is to reinforce the concepts taught in school.

Homework Policy The purpose of homework is to reinforce the concepts taught in school. It is an important part of your learning experience and, therefore, is not optional. Homework counts for 20% of your quarterly grade. Each students begins the quarter with a test grade of 100% for homework. For each missing or incomplete homework assignment, 5 points will be deducted from the grade. HW is generally given Monday - Thursday. However, there may be times when homework is given over the weekend or a break.

Homework Policy Homework is due the day after it is assigned, unless a specific date is given. You are responsible for work missed when you are absent or at lessons. It is your responsibility to find out what you missed when you were out. Please have the phone numbers of at least 2 classmates.
