Ms. Fatima Hello! My name is Sadaf Fatima. I obtained my BA in Sociology from the De. Pauw University (IN. ) and my teacher certification from Northeastern Illinois University. I am currently working on receiving my Masters in Literacy Instruction. I have been teaching for 8 years. During my time at Haugan, I have taught pre-k - 6 th grade, but for the last 5 years, I have been teaching 5 th grade is my FAVORITE grade level to teach! Time for School! Remote learning will be the same as it would if the students were in school. The school day begins everyday at 8: 15 AM and ends at 3: 15 PM. We will have live instruction, independent work, and small group instruction on a daily basis. Detailed daily schedule will be shared with students on google drive. SET UP A ROUTINE Please help your child develop a routine… - Wake up early, get dressed (no pajamas), and eat breakfast BEFORE class starts - Create a distraction-free place to work for video learning and independent work - Have all supplies ready (we will talk about supplies) - Stay on-task, stay focused, participate in class activities Routine

It’s Just Like at School! Make sure to log into our Google Meets on time so we can make sure all of our lessons are as AWESOME as they can be. If you join late you might miss important directions or a really cool part of a story. When you join the meeting, please come in quietly. Cameras must be on, and mics on mute (unless you are sharing something). Meetings will be recorded so students can go back and listen to it as review if they missed something. Google Meets

THE MAIN HUB Google Classroom is where you will find all information and assignments. Please make sure to log on and check several times a day to notice any updates. The Haugan website has a lot of information and links to access. Please visit the website often, as I have shared access codes and links to the websites.
