Physical Education Class Description: The emphasis in this course is on muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and body composition. The P. E. /Team Sports portion of the class will consist of fitness assessments, and a variety of skill development, cooperative activities, team sports. Gym safety and individual goal setting are all important components in this course. In addition, students will monitor and improve their fitness levels by participating in the fitness-gram assessments throughout the year to monitor student growth.
Health Class Description The health portion of the class will consist of healthful topics such as: Food and Nutrition, CPR training, stress and mental disorders, health related fitness, personal and consumer health, and interpersonal communications & relationships. Each student in health class will learn all the essential standards of the healthful living curriculum.

Virtual Health/PE Class • Students will login to class sessions. Microsoft Teams for live and recorded • Students will be given daily announcements and assignments on Canvas. • I will use the Canvas calendar icon weekly to schedule virtual class meeting, discussions, and teachings through a Microsoft Teams link.

Assignments/Grading • Students will always start off with a 100% in the class! • Student will be graded for each scheduled assignment given throughout remote learning. • Some assignments will need to be directed to turn in canvas by writing or video recordings. • We must have “Integrity” when completing remote health and physical activity assignments. • (First Assignment Fitness. Gram) Participation Points Grading Scale: A = 100%- 90% B= 89%-80% C = 79%- 70% D= 69%-60% F = 59% and below
Remote Learning Class Expectation ▪ ▪ Acknowledge announcements in Canvas for instruction. Login to Microsoft Teams on time for virtual class. Complete assignment on Canvas during a timely matter. Communication promptly through email, Microsoft Teams, or Canvas about any instructional information.
