Rules and Expectations ( Consequences and Rewards) � � Classroom Goals � Our ten goals for this year come from the portion of the report card that deals with work skills, study habits, � � � � and citizenship. 1. Stay on task 2. Complete work on time 3. Work cooperatively 4. Follow directions 5. Listen to learn 6. Do neat, careful work 7. Good classroom behavior 8. Good playground behavior 9. Respect rights of others 10. Practice self-discipline Consequences 1. Verbal Warning 2. Time out either in class or another classroom 3. Call home 4. Call to the Principal 5. Conference with student, parents, teacher, and possibly principal *Referrals may be given in addition to the above consequences if necessary Rewards: The Credit Card Program Each student is given a “credit card”. To reward a student for positive behavior, a stamp or “credit” is stamped on the card. When the student has earned fifteen stamps the credit card can be redeemed for rewards such as: 10 minute computer game time, grab jar, homework pass, special reading spot, use of classroom PE equipment, 10 min. extra recess, etc.

E. , Music, Art) � Library : Wednesday 12: 35 -1: 05 � **Classroom PE instruction will be: Wednesday/ Friday 7: 50 -8: 40 Students will run the mile every Wednesday, and participate in a sports skill on Friday- appropriate shoes and clothing is necessary
