In Rwanda we support UN-Habitat for the preparation of the Smart Cities Master plan, First mission in March, follow up in May, Supported by workshops in Arcadis offices 9

Sao Tome e Principe September 2017 On Principe Island (Africa) we support UN-Habitat in the development of a new settlement For 500 inhabitants who presently live in substandard conditions. 10

Shelter missions to Belize Belmopan March and May 2017 In Belize Belmopan we support UN-Habitat with sustainable urban planning, providing a safe and sustainable environment for 15. 000 inhabitants. The mayor of Belmopan attended the 2016 Shelter Academy. With a first mission in December 2016 and a second in March 2017 Development of a blue green framework for water management and urban planning, we presented the results in Carribean urban forum in May 11

Jamaica mission September 2017 In Jamaica 1000 inhabitants of the Canterbury slum area are affected by flooding. Arcadis colleagues supported UN-Habitat to plan improved drainage in this slum area. 13

Philippines resilient cities capacity building workshops national government October 2017 three cities November 2017 Capacity building on resilient urban planning is an important part of the work of UN-Habitat. Through the Shelter program teams of Arcadis experts provided support, first in October for the national government and in November in three cities for municipal planning staff 16
