PARCC – Partnership for the Assessment of Readiness for College and Career NJ Testing window is between 3/27 – 5/19 3 Sections ELA 90 min. / 110 min. 3 Sections Math 80 min. / 80 min. ASK 8 Science – May 31 st – One day / approx. 90 min. STANDARDIZED TESTING

Algebra I & Geometry Final Exam is administered at the end of the year >80% final average needed for course credit World Language STAMP assessment is administered in early May Novice High score needed for credit HS CREDIT FOR: ALGEBRA I, GEOMETRY, WORLD LANGUAGE

Cost - $305 Itinerary June 1, 2017 – 5: 30 Arrival to school (depart approx. 6: 15 AM) Arrive in D. C. – Bag lunch & tour of monuments/memorials Dinner Cruise & Dance on the Potomac Depart for hotel (Gettysburg) – Check in & Pizza Party June 2 nd - Breakfast buffet in the morning Tour Gettysburg – lunch & dinner provided Return to RRMS approx. 9: 00 PM $55 Deposit & Permission slip due December 2 nd 8 TH GRADE TRIP – WASHINGTON, D. C. , & GETTYSBURG, PA

June 9, 2017 – 7: 00 PM – 10: 00 PM Special event for RRMS eighth graders only. Gym to be beautifully decorated. Dance is tailored to be an eighth grade event – not a high school event. Appropriate dress required – boys and girls. Details will follow. EIGHTH GRADE DANCE

June 19, 2017 - 6: 30 PM in RRMS gymnasium. Gym occupancy is 1, 108 – overflow to cafeteria for live broadcast. Number of tickets (to be determined) will be mailed in June. Ceremony lasts approximately 1 hour. Only eighth graders who meet the requirements to be promoted to high school may participate. Gowns provided in school that evening / Proper dress underneath. No cost to students if enough money is raised during our current raffle. Tribute ads with pictures of your child at a cost. Price range from $35 - $125. All tribute ads to be done in Pictavo web based program Process is much easier than in years past Provided to students in HR during the last day of school on June 20, 2017. Student committee already in place working on aspects of the yearbook. YEARBOOK

Simple, yet thorough breakfast provided on June 20, 2017. Help needed. Yearbook signing throughout the day until 12: 50 dismissal. 8 TH GRADE BREAKFAST
