A little bit about Mr. Hager • Born and raised in Walnut Creek • BA Psychobiology, UCSC, 1993 • Worked as a field biologist and in productions dept. of Santa Cruz Biotechnology • Started San Ramon Valley Skate Camp, (2000 -2004) • Multiple Subject Credential, Cal State East Bay, 2004 • Mom was a teacher, Dad was a scientist. Classroom Policies • Homework is written on the HW Board 7 each Monday. Students

Classroom Policies • Homework is written on the HW Board 7 each Monday. Students are expected to copy down the week’s homework in their time trackers each Monday. • All past assignments and handouts are available in the rear of the class, in the stacked trays. • Late daily work receives half credit if turned in the next day.

Grading • Student Grades are determined using percentage of total possible points • ~50%

Grading • Student Grades are determined using percentage of total possible points • ~50% of grade is derived from daily work (labs, class work, homework, science notebook) • ~50% of grade is based on quizzes, formal lab reports, and long term projects • Quiz corrections are permitted for quiz grades below 70%. Student may raise their score to 70%
