Psalm 23 (KJV) The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
1 - Before the Throne of God Above 1. Before throne of God above I have a strong, a perfect plea, A great High Priest whose name is Love Who ever lives and pleads for me. My name is graven on His hands. My name is written on His heart. I know that while in heaven He stands No tongue can bid me thence depart; No tongue can bid me thence depart. 2 - Before the Throne of God Above 2. When Satan tempts me to despair, And tells me of the guilt within, Upward I look and see Him there Who made an end to all my sin. Because the sinless Savior died, My sinful soul is counted free. For God the Just is satisfied To look on Him and pardon me, To look on Him and pardon me. 3 - Before the Throne of God Above 3. Behold Him there, the risen Lamb, My perfect spotless Righteousness, The great unchangeable I AM, The King of Glory and of Grace. One with Himself, I cannot die. My soul is purchased by His blood. My life is hid with Christ on High, With Christ my Savior and my God. The Lord’s Supper Before Jesus went to the cross, he shared a meal with his disciples and told them to “Do this in remembrance of me. ” The meal included bread, which symbolized Jesus’ body, and fruit of the vine, which symbolized Jesus’ blood. Each week we share in this meal, called the Lord’s Supper in order to remember his death, anticipate his return, and recognize his body.

Knowing God and relying on him to give me strength and confidence to face each day.
Knowing the Good Shepherd means that in our most difficult times, we are not abandoned.
We need something – someone – to guide us and lead us.
You already know everything you need to know to submit to God’s authority.
237 – His Grace Reaches Me 1. 315 - I’ll Live in Glory 1. I'd like to stay here longer than man's allotted days, And watch the fleeting changes of life's uneven ways; But if my Savior calls me to that sweet home on high, I'll live with Him forever in glory by and by.
