Tuesday: Random Hand in your homework: Read and take Cornel Notes on something in the news. Homework title: Current Events Forgot? Everyone gets a late pass for this first assignment. All other assignments from this day forth will be subject to school policy: 75% 1 day late, 50% if later than the following Monday. 1 pt extra credit for those of you who remembered (or checked my website). Larson’s Late Homework Pass If you ask for one, you won’t get one. I will be giving them SPARINLY to students who I think have gone above and beyond and showed true leadership as a student. Turn it in WITH your late homework. Pass good for one day late for one assignment. If you lose it, you lose the ability to turn in an assignment late. The pass is nontransferable (meaning the student I gave the pass to, cannot give the pass to another student).

Tuesday: Random Continued Some of you are losing your 82 prep points & 82 participation points… These should be EASY POINTS! You should be IN YOUR DESK with your notebook open when the bell rings (or at least on your way to your desk). If the bell rings and you’re not in the room, you are tardy. NO EXCUSES. If you’re absent you don’t get your points. NO EXCUSES. Keep your journals (don’t leave them in the classroom) and bring them to class everyday. I think the journal gnome is eating them at night. This means to be prepared for class you need a pencil/pen, a novel/book, and TWO notebooks: The journal I gave you for daily writing & drafting. The notebook you brought or your homeroom teacher gave you for notes and vocab (test/quiz stuff).
