Tours Procedure: • All tour walkers will serve their tours in PT Barracks • A tour period is defined as the designated three hour period when punishments are served on Wednesday, Friday night, Saturday afternoon, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon for optional tours (for a maximum of 12). • BDOs monitoring tours must record punishments each hour after the top of the hour.
Providing Tour Credit • Duty Team Members will have the ability (for the week they are on duty) to access CAS and assign confinement/Tour Credit. • At the end of the 50 minute period, divide the tour walkers into three groups for accountability—one for each BDO and SDO to mark present • At the end of each 50 minute period, the BDO/SDO will mark cadets • • present for Tours on their phone app, IPAD app or on the computer by going through CAS. The cadet serving the confinement will verify by using his electronic signature (login password). This MUST be accomplished in a 20 minute window starting at 50 mins past the hour until 10 minutes past the hour. If not completed, then it must be hand entered by the CDO The policy for the SCCC is to get this accomplished during the 20 min period and to NOT have to manually enter the data. With three individuals doing this, it is expected that 20 minutes will be enough time to complete before the start of the next tour The SDO will make the call for ‘cons for tours’ if the situation calls for it, and cadets will sign for tours while doing cons. (Must clear with Regt. Adjutant before switch is made)
PROCEDURES FOR CONDUCTING CONFINEMENTS IN CLASSROOMS • • CONFINEMENTS ARE SAT BY CLASS IN A ROOM ASSIGNED FOR THEM (EARLIER SLIDE) The Company Duty SENIOR (NO Juniors or Sophomore) responsible Restricted cadets will sign-in upon arrival to the classroom. The Company Duty officer will be responsible for maintaining a quiet environment conducive to reading and studying. At the end of the confinement hour, each confined cadet gets a 10 minute break. There will be no playing games, eating, watching TV shows/movies • • CDOs are expected to heavily enforce this policy Failure to do so will result in a neglect of military duty pull for both CDOs and an improper con pull for all individuals that are failing to do the right thing.
Duty Teams • ALL INS: • All-ins will be done by Duty Team members and may be assisted by the Division Inspectors. Only the Duty Team will be able to enter CAS and annotate AWOLs/Absences. • Duty teams will annotate on CAS those cadets who are not in their room during the all ins. They will make this annotation either on their smart phone, IPad, or back in their room on their computer. This entry must be completed NLT 0000 hrs. on weekdays and 0200 on weekend except when leave is extended. • The preferred method is to do the all ins “live” on a smart device while checking rooms. • BDOs will do all ins for the Battalion Staff and the SDO will do all ins for the Regimental Staff. • SDO/BDO/CDO’s are responsible for All-Ins every day • ALL-INS MUST BE DONE AT THE EXACT TIME (no forward/backward signing) • Weekends: 2400 4 th Class All-ins; • 0100 Upper-class All-ins • Wednesday: 1950; 2300 (Cadets with CP must return by 2230) • Must have eyes on for all-ins • No relaxed all-ins or relaxed duty. • Door Locked; Unlock it and verify presence. • Pick up key from OC and return when completed
