I do understand appreciate Graphic and Multimedia from Conceptual Design point of view. I do need more practical exposure to the Adobe Suit and internet applications to be more confident in digital material preparation for lessons. I do believe in demonstrations as part of practical teaching, I am very confident with prototype making and intent to create my own resources to facilitate learning in school environments. (WK-1) What I Want to Know I want to know more about lesson planning, expected outcomes and assessment methods. I would like to be able of produce 3 D-Animated material applicable to lessons and individual learning. I need to be more adventurous with internet applications, to maximize the advantage I already have with the use of CAD The first step will be a full understanding of the syllabus. Learning Task 1 Homework: Construct a knowledge web or concept map that you can refine throughout the semester to illustrate relationships between your TAS subject (e. g. Textiles and Design, Industrial Technology, Agriculture, etc. ), topics, content knowledge and skills and the division of Stage 6 into Preliminary and HSC. Time allocations should also be included Homework: What do you see as the really big ideas in your TAS Specialisation syllabus addressing in Years 11 and 12? Try to identify 2 or 3 ideas you believe drive the choice of knowledge across the topics. For example: How does an understanding of nutrition contribute to the reduction of disease? 4
