Option 1: Puppet making You need: Colouring pages (from online learning portal) Colour pencils Scissors Tape/glue Textas/sticks Step 1: Print off the colouring pages and colour in the characters. Step 2: Cut the characters out and stick them to textas/sticks to create your puppets. Step 3: Create any other props/characters you need for the legend ie. Peng meng, arrows, suns, elixir, moon etc. (optional) Step 4: Act out the legend using your puppets by following the video on Slide 4. Step 5: Take a picture of your puppets/props and send it to Joanna.
Option 2: Making mooncakes at home If you have moon cake molds at home, follow one of the recipes on Slide 4 and make your own mooncakes! If you don’t have moon cake molds at home, the Shanghainese mooncake does not require any molds to make. Follow the recipe/video to make Shanghainese mooncakes.
