Lesson 2 Can you create a word bank with your adult and write down any words you are unsure of. For example – continued. See if you can find the meaning of these words by looking in a dictionary, searching online or asking a member of your family.
Lesson 3 It’s time for you to create your own story map of Billy’s Beetle! Please see a picture of our class story map on the next slide so you can use it as an example: Parents, remember to email the story maps to hvachestnut@clf. uk or hvacherry@clf. uk
Lesson 4 It’s time to role play the story! Can you do this with a member of your family. You could be Billy and they could be the girl in the story. See if a member of your family can ask you questions as ‘Billy’. For example: “Billy, how did you feel when you looked in your matchbox and it was empty? ” "Billy, where did you go when you went away from the rest of the group? "
