Features • The Weebly website has many features, allowing for quick building of a nice blog. You can easily import You. Tube videos, edit the tabs on the website, connect to social media websites such as Linked. In and Flickr, import Flash. swfs and embed code.

Ease of Use • Weebly is incredibly easy to use, even for someone new to blogging. The range of features allows for large amounts of customisation and you can have your blog website built in minutes. For example, to post a new entry, all you have to do is click “New post” and drag the text “widget” into the popup box. You can add youtube videos, files and many other things to your blog to spice it up.

Customisation • The customisation of Weebly is immense. It comes pre-set with many themes, and you can make your own if you so please. You can control your header images, pages, layout and content with a minute amount of clicks. For example, I created a logo in Photoshop and was able to upload it with minimal hassle. The only issue I had was the header size, meaning I had to cut out some of the image to fit it on.

Cons • Still “basic” • Some themes are bland boring. • Forced to add. weebly to your URL, unless you pay.

Feel • Weebly feels very nice to use. The widgets that you drag are filled with a glowing blue light when grabbed and moved, which looks pretty. When hovering over buttons such as “Upload Image, ” the white border changes to blue as a highlight, making it stand out. Some users may lose their cursors, and these features can help.

The vlog • Performing the Vlog was not a fun experience. I had no idea what to say and I hate doing anything on camera. I had to record it on a Nexus 7 tablet, which is hard to balance. I had to get it perfectly on my centre satellite speaker and hope it didn’t fall down. I did it late at night, so I couldn’t concentrate either.

Conclusion • Weebly is an excellent website for newbie bloggers, one which can easily bring people into the world of blogging and vlogging. Blogs can be set up in mere minutes, simply through dragging text and embeds into the main blog view.
