Class Discussion How are we going to use are plans to help us write a story? Why should we not just copy our plan? What is missing?
My Plan My Story Two boys set off across the back garden into a field when they were suppose to be meeting a friend. Long ago, when I was just a young child, me and Jim did something sneaky. Our long garden backed onto a huge field. We told dad we were visiting a friend, but we went to explore by ourselves.
My Plan They find a field ferret. They set a trap to catch it. Can you help me write my Story for this part of the plan? What did the scene look like? How did they discover the ferret? Did it move? What did the field ferret look like? What was it doing?
My Plan My Story They find a field ferret. They set a trap to catch it. Jim said there were fairy rings and enchanted rabbit holes over in the distance and we wanted to see them.
