Colour Schemes & Page Styles Interactive Components Alternative solutions/ideas The colour scheme that I have chosen for my website is mainly white but will have bright colours in places, for example where there is a product its box will have an outline of a bright colour that works with the background (will only be one colour for outline) and make it eye catching so that is the first thing the user notices and still look professional, this website will mainly be a static website. The way the pages will be set out, the logo will be in the top left, the company name in the middle and the login in the top right, I’ve set the top of the page this way because people normally look at the top left first when they go on a website and pan to the right. The adverts will automatically change every few seconds. The user requirements for website are that the logo needs to look professional and in the top left corner, for the font style I will be using ‘Calibri’ because it easy to understand is simple, the main colour of the font will be black and the style will be normal on every page so the website looks professional and appeals to the users needs. One of the main features for my website will be the navigation bar which will use image rollovers which will be interactive because this way it will make the user interact with the website and then they can visit other websites and may become interested in that website as well. The adverts will change every few moments and say if the user is an adult and they see something they may be interested in they can click on the ad and go straight to the site the product/service is being sold. In my website there will be hyperlinks, for example to social media so users can keep track of any special offers that may be on, this will get the user involved with the website, if the user is a teenager, who are the main stereotype for using social media the most out of any other age group, might see these and become interested in the site more. The user can also interact with the site through the online forum, where they can ask for help, where they can help other users, etc but to gain access to the forum they will have to enter their name & email address. A main feature that will be used in my website are text hyperlinks for most of the website and rollovers, in the future I may try to change the website to make it stand out from others but also keeping it professional by making a few changes to the layout and maybe adding a video or two to attract a audience who prefers to watch videos than read. In my website I will use dropdown boxes to make the navigation of the website easier to do and placing images in different to places to make the website different. Another main feature of a website is to keep changing things to keep people interested and giving the website a dynamic edge. I would put the main title ‘Mobile. World. Station’ in a different place than it was originally to keep the dynamic feature of the website, I could also change the page layout, for example change the order of the phones, etc.
