• • • The campaign I have chosen to analyse is about the NHS and the impact it could have when the United Kingdom officially leaves the EU (European Union) The website I have used to indicate my campaign is a news article that explains the repercussions or benefits that Brexit will have on the NHS It is laid out in a formal manner and it represents a persons opinion on how to deal with the NHS’s problems It provides me with a great amount of detail and facts about the topic. It is extremely useful to use this on my own campaign because my mum works at the NHS as a nurse so this will have a definite impact on her. The promise that the NHS were given was that if the United Kingdom were to leave the EU £ 350 million would be spent on improving the NHS’s hospital facilities but Nigel Farage who was in charge of the Vote Leave campaign turned back on his word thus leaving the NHS in the midst of a financial crisis.
• • This campaign is about a protest that occurred yesterday aimed at Arsenal Football Club’s Emirates Stadium and towards Arsene Wenger. It provides plenty of images and video footage that took place from the old Highbury Stadium towards the Emirates as well as small subheadings that are underneath the images. It is layed out in a professional manner as it was posted by the Daily Mail newspaper. This is what I have been planning to add to my own campaign as I am an avid Arsenal fan and I want to put this issue out.
• • This website is called the National Autistic Society and it is campaigning about certain people who have been diagnosed with autism and how it affects their everyday lives. The website contains a lot of links of the things that autism can have an impact on for example family life, health and in education. It gives out a clear enough message as there are multiple amount of images on not just the homepage but on the links that are under what is autism? featuring facts. It is useful for my own campaign because it will help people be more aware of how an autistic person sees the outside world differently. http: //www. autism. org. uk/get-involved/campaign. aspx
• This is a visual arts campaign and is focused on gender equality. The message that this graffiti artist has done to portray this topic is that both male and females have equal rights to rights or opportunities. In both ways the design is very well crafted but the background is too messy for it to look visually good. This is relevant to my own campaign as I want to put more focus on how people should have equal rights.
• This is a digital arts work campaign focusing on health and the dangers of smoking. The message that this media student wanted to create was how effective smoking takes it toll on your health. It portrays its message by applying human figures at the end of cigarette which could be replicating the fact these people actually pass away due to their over usage of smoking.
• • The message that this graffiti is trying to bring to the viewer is that they want to put a stop to the over usage of graffiti in public areas and that it should be considered as a crime. It is produced in a professional manner as it provides an example of washing away graffiti. This would not stand out in a crowded environment because most people would want to know how extreme graffiti can get but instead it would be removed. It would not be helpful towards my own campaign as it would not have much of an impact.
Analytical Report This campaign is about Arsenal Football Clubs fan protest against Arsene Wenger earning a new contract that occurred on the 8 th March 2017. In my opinion it is good to see people venting their feelings towards the club as they are the ones who pay their hard earned money to watch their favourite team and then watching them lose 10 -2 would understandably frustrate them. After the protest Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted that he will take the fans views into consideration as to whether he will sign a two year deal. The last few protests has made a very big impact towards Arsene and would have made him realize that the fans opinion matters. The fans also did a march from Arsenals old stadium Highbury towards the Emirates Stadium during the protest campaign. The message is as clear as I can make out because hundreds of people were marching in the middle of the street and protesting and saying out loud their frustrations, holding banners and posters.
Analytical Report This image is what I am going to base my analytical report on which is on gender equality in the visual arts campaign and represents how women should be treated more of an equal wave length to men. I like how this image is used to portray this topic as doesn't look as if it tries to stick to one side it just remains neutral throughout and gives a clear indication on what it wants to aim for.
