First Cohort Pursuing Blended Format of Diploma In Sports Management 2013/14 Programme offered using face to face and online strategies
Structure of the Blended Programme Face-To-Face Component 1 -week face to face sessions each trimester 9 hours face to face 3+3+2 = 8 courses over the year Online component using Moodle and Blackboard Collaborate Web Seminars
Purpose of this Study- Evaluation � To what extent do the students feel they are engaged in the programme? � What are students’ perceptions of the successes and challenges of the programme?

Method cont’d Learning Resources Learning Activities Communication and Collaboration Student Support Assessment and Feedback Focus group with 5 of the 11 students using four guiding questions.
Learning Resources and Activities Students felt that resources and activities helped them understand key concepts.
Usefulness and Timeliness of Feedback was “somewhat useful”. 50% felt feedback was not timely.
Mixed feelings about Communication and Collaboration Mixed feelings about connectednes s. “I felt connected to other students in the programme.
