• • In the period from 1978 to 1994, INTERTEC was in charge of designing and optimizing the electrical and electronic installations of the Joint European Torus in Abingdon, Oxfordshire During this period we employed on average 10 technicians and engineers on-site in Abingdon

• • • Since 1978, INTERTEC has been working for and with CERN With the CERN contracts, INTERTEC is represented by our French and Swiss subsidiaries: B&S International France and Bruun & Sorensen Suisse, both located less than 5 minutes from the CERN sites Initially our main involvement with CERN was in the construction of the LEP accelerator, since switched into a Technical Services Contract that we successfully have renewed every 5 -7 years after tendering. And in 2001 we won the tender to assemble, test and install cryo-magnets of the LHC accelerator (more than 1700 magnets in total) in parallel of our Technical Services contract We’re certified ISO 9000 : 2015 Today we employ >50 engineers and technicians at CERN

• Our activities at CERN includes: Assisting CERN engineers and technicians in developing new equipment in and around CERN accelerators: design, prototyping/assembly and testing • Magnets: resistive and superconducting • RF equipment: amplifiers, couplers & cavities • RF controls • Dumpers, Collimators, Surveillance Equipment etc
