Remember– you must have a 2. 5 GPA or higher to receive KEES money. You can check your KEES account by going to www. kheaa. com and registering for an account. Again– the school has NO ACCESS to this account. This is YOUR account. Make sure you store your username and password in a safe place and can access it later.
Your Driver’s Permit: No Pass, No Drive Law We always have to look at the previous semester and check your grades and your attendance from that time. • • You must have been passing at least 5 of 7 classes. You must have LESS THAN 9 unexcused absences. If you do not meet both of these criteria, we cannot give you a permit form. For Example: If you turn 16 in October, we have to look at the Spring semester of the previous school year and see what your grades and attendance were. If you did not meet the criteria for grades and attendance at that time, we cannot give you a permit form. You will have to wait until the end of the current semester (Christmas Break) and let us check your grades and attendance again. If you turn 16 in January, we will look back at the previous semester (that Fall, which runs from August to December). If you do not meet the grades and attendance criteria, we cannot give you a permit form. You will have to wait until the end of the current semester (which will be in May – at the end of the school year), and we will check again.
