WORK ON FINISHING GLAZING IF YOU ARE NOT DONE Work on SKETCHBOOOK ASSIGNMENTS if done glazing ALL pieces you made
WHILE OURS WILL BE IN WATERCOLOR AND THIS IS IN COLOR PENCIL, SAME CONCEPT AND VERY BEAUTIFUL PIECE.
VIDEO DEMONSTRATIONS Use watercolor scraps to follow along and practice techniques. Teacher will pause to allow time to work. Day 1 scrap practice = 2 daily grades Day 2 scrap practice = 2 daily grades MAKE SURE YOU WRITE YOUR NAME ON THE BACK
Day 1 • Give students each a scrap and skinny masking tape at each table. Have tables set up with containers and water color. Supplies will stay on table for duration of project. • STUDENTS MUST WASH BRUSHES & WIPE DOWN TABLE and be given 5 minutes of clean up time daily for watercolor. • Put watercolor practice on drying rack to put INTO the turn in tray at the beginning of class tomorrow. Day 2 • TURN IN PRACTICE FROM YESTERDAY INTO TRAY. MAKE SURE NAME IS ON IT. • NO TAPE, follow along, pause to allow for work time, practice techniques. FOX DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT. This is painting practice not drawing practice. • Clean up 5 minutes before bell. MAKE SURE TO PUT THIS IN TRAY TOMORROW CLICK ME

STEPS 1. On 12 x 18 watercolor paper, draw a wild animal of your choice, use phone to find a reference photo (include habitat, jelly fish are next to aquatic plants) ON WATERCOLOR PAPER. NAME ON BACK 2. Draw GEOMETRIC SHAPE, large and in center of page 3. Paint carefully with water color inside your shape and the rest of your animal outside of your shape. PUT TO DRY ON DRYING RACK 4. Trace all pencil in pen/shade in pen and erase stray eraser marks after pen is completely dry. (6 days end of class to paint and trace, shade COMPLETE PROJECT, MAJOR GRADE)
