Water Pollution By Justin Fields Dominic Jones Tyler
Water Pollution By: Justin Fields & Dominic Jones & Tyler Johnson Water pollution needs to be controlled in the Great Lakes Ecosystem.
The issue of the claim. If Great Lakes ecosystem is polluted a lot, the people that use the Lakes could get sick from the pollution.
What affects the ecosystem. Humans and animals are the main reason why the Great Lakes ecosystem is polluted. If the humans and animals would stop putting waste in the Lakes, it would be polluted like it is.
Testable Question. The testable question was, what became the most polluted when you put water into it. We used rocks, sand, and dirt to test it.
How our results were gathered. We gathered our results by making a table chart and recording how polluted it was. We did 3 trails for each.
Chart on how polluted it was. 10 9 8 7 6 Trail 1 on pollution 5 Trail 2 on pollution 4 Trail 3 on pollution 3 2 1 0 Rocks Sand Dirt
The conclusion to our experiment. The conclusion to this experiment is, rocks are the best soil type to use if you don’t want your water polluted.
Our opinion on the major claim is, it would be awesome if we kept the Great Lakes ecosystem unpolluted because we could do more in the Great Lakes.
We agree with this claim because an unpolluted ecosystem is better for animals and humans that use the Great Lakes.
In the experiment, the rocks was the less polluted soil type. If we change out what ever is the soil type in the Great Lakes to rocks, the ecosystem will be less polluted and it will be safer.
