Uses of Water We use water for the purpose of : • Drinking • Bathing • Cooking • Cleaning the house • Watering the fields • Watering the plants • Industrial Use

Conserve Every Drop of Water

Every drop of water is precious. • Let us think before turning on our water taps.

Take Short Showers instead of baths everyday.

Turn off the tap while brushing teeth, soaping hands and shaving.

Fix any dripping tap immediately.

Wash dishes in a basin rather than under running water

Avoid flushing unnecessarily. • Check for water leaks in your home regularly.

Do laundry with a full load. • Run washing machine with full loads on alternative days instead of running it with half load daily.

Reuse water • Reuse water after washing fruits and vegetables for watering your plants.
