On-line Exams • Computer based testing (CBT) is scheduled every two months for all exams listed above - May, July, September, November, January, March, and so on. • Applications can be sent on an on-going basis when requirements for certification are met. Once we process applications indicating this option, you will receive notification via email indicating the next available session. 4

Attendance Guidelines • Changed from standalone document, inserted in Operator Certification Guidelines (GL) • Current version of GL’s on website – January 1, 2019 Changes – Automated Systems » Small Systems Certification required » Attendance of 1 X month, changed to 1 X week » Certified Operator in Charge and Attending Operator on-site together 7

Why the Change? • Certified operators responsible for reasonable number of facilities • Allows for progression of responsibility as Operators advance through certification levels • Enables remote monitoring 8
